Professional Exterior Trim, Soffit and Fascia Painting

Exterior trim often fails before broad wall surfaces because edges, joints and horizontal details collect moisture and receive concentrated sun. Peeling paint, open caulking, bare wood and oxidized metal must be addressed before finish coats.

Nexa Painting paints suitable wood, aluminum and previously coated trim components, including fascia, soffits, window and door casing, frieze boards, columns and decorative details.

What Our Exterior Trim, Soffit and Fascia Painting Service Includes

  • Vented and solid soffits where coating is appropriate
  • Window and door trim
  • Columns, brackets and decorative details
  • Scraping, sanding, spot priming and suitable caulking
  • Lift, ladder and fall-protection planning for elevated work

What Affects Exterior Trim Painting Costs?

Exterior trim painting depends on access as well as the amount of woodwork. Rooflines, storeys, porches and landscaping can change how fascia, soffits and decorative details are reached and protected. Similar houses can therefore require different work plans.

Surface condition matters too. A colour refresh differs from work involving peeling paint, damaged boards or failing joints. During your Nexa assessment, identify these areas and confirm which repairs are included or need separate attention. A component list covering fascia, soffits, window trim, columns and other details makes estimates easier to compare and helps give the whole exterior a consistent finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can aluminum soffits and fascia be painted?

Sound aluminum components can often be repainted after cleaning and preparation with compatible products. Oxidation and failing factory finishes need assessment.

Do you replace rotten fascia?

Painting cannot correct rot. Minor carpentry may be quoted separately, while extensive deterioration should be replaced before coating.

Will you clean eavestroughs too?

Eavestrough cleaning is not automatically included. We clean surfaces being coated and can identify additional related work in the estimate.

Do soffit vents remain functional?

Vent openings must not be blocked by excessive coating. We assess vented soffit material and use an application method that protects airflow.

How do you reach high trim?

Access may involve ladders, scaffold, lifts or roof-related safety systems depending on height, terrain and obstruction.

Can trim be painted in cooler weather?

Only when air and surface temperatures, overnight conditions and forecast remain within the coating manufacturer’s limits.
